Hi, my name is Kendra. Thank you for considering me to be your doula. I am a birth and postpartum doula, as well as a provider of bereavement support. I am based out of Arizona, and serve the East Valley of Phoenix, including Ahwatukee, Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, and Queen Creek, as well as the Gila Valley and Safford.
After having 3 children of my own, I realized how amazing birth is, and want to help support others during childbirth and postpartum. I feel that I am easy to speak with, and I’m extremely passionate about providing families with essential information to help empower their decisions on different birthing options to help create the best birthing experience they can have.
My main focus is to bring calmness to the birthing room, and help my clients feel confident and equipped as they walk their own birth path. I believe being a doula is amazing, and I want to help you to birth your baby while being surrounded by love and support. Having breast-fed all of my own babies, I completely understand the process; starting with the importance of proper latching. I pride myself on being great at providing aid in the breast feeding development, and would love to get breastfeeding off to a good start if you plan on nursing.
As a postpartum doula, my care encompasses the whole family. I want to help you feel confident and comfortable with your life as a new family. My services can include emotional and physical support while taking care of your newborn, breastfeeding support, assisting with baby wearing and household help. Whatever assistance is needed to help to create, and to keep a house running calmly as you adjust to your new family is my priority. My care is professional, given kindly, and without judgement. I look forward to getting to know you, and your family on a deep level.
